An Onbuhimo is a Japanese inspired carrier typically used for an older babies and toddlers. Child must be able to sit up unassisted and have full head control. This carrier is typically worn on the back in a high back carry. Child should be high enough that they can see over your shoulders. Onbuhimos are waistless with straps going over the shoulders only. Being waistless makes Onbuhimos a good choice for pregnant women or care providers that have a hard time finding buckle carriers that fit their torso.
Great video by Soul Slings for those wondering how to get your Onbuhimo on for the first time!http://bit.ly/2AyB2iH
